Well behaved dogs are welcome in the hotel in certain bedrooms, in the Library, Bar and grounds
There is a £10 per night charge
Exercise
The hotel is situated in 7 acres, alongside the River Teifi, and there is a 1.5 mile walk on a footpath to Cilgerran which starts at the hotel. There are several other great walks from the hotel.
Poppit Sands with its enormous beach and dunes is approximately 4 miles away and dogs are welcome all year round. In the winter months, all of the beaches are open to dogs, and, even in summer, local beaches like Aberporth have an area for dogs.
The coastal path stretches 200 miles, from North Ceredigion all the way around Pembrokeshire and is ideal for dogs and walkers.
Owner Care
A lot of people bring a blanket, cage or bed for the room, and a towel to rub their dog down after it has been in water. If your dog is muddy, there is a hose outside.
We do ask owners to be considerate of other guests, e.g. always keep dogs on leads within the hotel and keep them off flower beds, clear up any mess and wait until they are dry before bringing them inside.
Please remember, other guests will use the bedroom and so dogs must not be allowed on the furniture or beds.
